Maybe Upstate NY Is Not So Bad

If you live somewhere that has a 7-11 you probably take the awesomeness of being able to buy a crescent wrench at 3AM and get a Slurpee on your way out. When I lived in Florida I never really gave the 7-11 a second thought. But then I moved up here and there was NO 7-11 anywhere near here. So the 7-11 became the place we HAD to go to when we were visiting family that had one within reasonable driving distance. Until now. Hubby found one, actually there are apparently five now, near us and so we went out last night and got ourselves some Slurpee yumminess.
Three happy Slurpee drinkers. :)
Sluuuuurrrrrppp!!!
Look at that very serious Slurpee drinking face - and gorgeous eyes! :)
She may not now how awesome this is and she will probably take the 7-11 for granted but she sure looks happy, doesn't she?

  1. Yes! We don't have a 7-11 in our town but a place called MACS and it is pretty similar. My children ask for Frosters year round.

They did something awesome for the school kids last spring. At the end of the school year they gave each kid a free Froster. The teachers walked the kids down one class at a time. It was a BIG deal!

  2. I don't think there are any 7-11s nearby my part of upstate. When I lived in western NY there was Wilson Farms which I thought was the absolute best thing ever and now Sev is buying them all out. So, I kind of have a bit of bitterness towards them. Also, the last time I had a slurpee was on 7/11/09 and it was not a good anecdote to my morning sickness.
