Finally Free

When we moved into our house we were required to put up this fence - for the daycare. I have pretty much always hated it.
So, this past weekend, a year after we gave up the daycare with no intention of ever going back, we took it down.
As you can see it went down with a bang!
Big Brother helped by hammer all the pieces of wood he could get his hands on.
Big Sister helped by holding onto the baby monitor and listening for "Sister" to wake up.
And I celebrated when all of it was finally down. And the best part was that later that night one of the neighborhood boys stopped by and asked if they could have the wood to build a fort in the woods. How cool!! Take it buddy and enjoy!

  3. I always think it is so strange when people don't have a fence around their back yard. In southern california it is the norm.

  6. I am just the opposite. I NEED to have a fence for my yard or I lose my mind. LOL (mostly it's because my son Will is handicapped and needs to have a very safe and secure place to play)

It made a HUGE difference in how your yard looks though .
And, LOVE your little helpers :)
