Halloween

Well, it is Aloha Friday time! In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that people take it easy and look forward to the weekend (sound familiar?). So, we take it easy on Friday blog posts by sticking to just one quick question that surfers-by can answer with just a quick response themselves. This week's question is:

What are your kids for Halloween this year? And you if you are dressing up?

Me: Big Brother is going to be Peter Pan and Big Sister is going to be Tinkerbell. Very cute pictures coming later this week. :) I will not be dressing up but since Hubby is a preschool teacher and the school is having a Halloween party he is and he will be Buzz Lightyear!!

  1. Can not wait to see your photos. 6 year old picked out a Luigi Costume and the 2 year old is going to be Tigger. Of course, with the little guy being in the ER all day today, not sure if we will be doing anything for Halloween this year.

  3. My 8yo is going as the Penguin that the 4yo wore LAST year (she is tiny, the 8yo!). 4yo is a doctor, a 6yo is someone from Star Wars, no clue who.

  4. That is so cute! I love when people coordinate their kids' costumes. Mason is going to be a dragon and Jackson is going to be a spider. They don't really go together. I am toying around with the idea of being Little Miss Muffet, but I'm still undecided.

    My Aloha Friday :)

  5. Sounds like they are going to be adorable!

Son is going to be a dead soccer player (yeah, he's 12 & has a teen party to attend) while dd is going to be a pink witch for school & then she'll wear the vampira costume for Sat night trick or treat that she wore 2 years ago cause it's warmer!

Hubby never dresses up & I always dress up like a witch.

  9. My kids are Smurfette and Aang the Avatar. (I have preliminary pics of them on my blog.)
I was Captain Cancer Fighter on Wed. for a Cancer Society Fundraiser - blue tights, green hot pants, pink top, feather eyelashes, pink cape with the breast cancer awareness symbol. I got lots of different looks at my stuffy office.

  13. My baby is going to be a lion, but it took me FOREVER to pick out a costume. The stuff they have for 6 month olds is too cute for words.

I tried to convince my husband to do a whole family theme (ringmaster & bearded lady, gladiator & Roman princess, Dorothy & Scarecrow) but he was totally uninterested. I'll get him back with matching Christmas pajamas.

  15. What a cool dad ... BuzzLightyear!!!
Our 1 year old will be tinkerbell and our 4 year old will be Buzz, our 7 year old was going to be a starwars character, but made a last minute change of mind to Indiana Jones. Our 11 and 14 year olds not really into dressing up this year ... I'm ok with that.
