Well, it is Aloha Friday time! In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that people take it easy and look forward to the weekend (sound familiar?). So, we take it easy on Friday blog posts by sticking to just one quick question that surfers-by can answer with just a quick response themselves. This week's question is:
What one quality about your children's father do you admire the most?
Me: Hubby is great at playing. I know it sounds funny but he can really play with the kids. In a way that I don't seem to. Maybe it is because I am with them all day and I have so much to or maybe it is just our different personalities but Hubby can just get down and play with them. I just love watching him play with the kids - they all have so much fun!!

That's a hard one - he has so many great qualities. I knew he would make a great daddy and he has.
ReplyDeleteHmm I love that my husband doesn't mind playing with the kids. He thinks about what we all would like to do and plans fun activities.
ReplyDeleteHe genuinely cares about having a relationship with each child. I love that about him. He's a good listener and very compassionate.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick just one, but I love that he always seems to be able to make them smile/laugh. He's just goofy enough that kids find him hilarious.
ReplyDeleteHe's great at telling stories and he makes me laugh at myself
ReplyDeleteHe has so much patience with them.
ReplyDeleteGreat question!! He reminds me of my own father! He is fair and generous to both our daughters and works hard to be able to afford to give them the things that they needed!
ReplyDeletehis patience
ReplyDeleteOur kids are the most important thing in his life. I am awed by what a wonderful father he is, especially since I know what a louse HIS father is!
ReplyDeleteJust one thing? His love for his children!
ReplyDeleteToo many things to think of. If I have to pick one it is that he makes the move of the time with family.
ReplyDeleteHe knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life when he was still in high school. I'm still searching :)

His belief and trust in God.
ReplyDeletedefinitely i like that my spouse is king of play, although the truth is, that irritates the heck out of me too.
ReplyDeletei also admire his ability to get things done when he is so inspired. inspiration may be less frequent than i'd like, but nonetheless, he does a pretty good job of up and handling things when they finally get his attention. somedays i swear the man can move mountains.
He puts me and my children 1st in his life. He does nothing without thinking how it will affect the kids and I.
ReplyDeletei like it that even if he is tired from all that he does, he still have time to play with the kids :)
ReplyDeletedo drop by my site... wish you can join us at mommy moments this week!
He can make my son giggle like no one else. I think my son is sick of seeing me all day, and when his daddy walks in from work he lights up! It is the most amazing thing in the world!
ReplyDeleteI guess just that he is just as in love with our boys as I am. :-D
ReplyDeleteHe loves to read to them.
ReplyDeleteHis willingness to always help :)
ReplyDeleteThe fact that he loves them and me so much, and we're like best friends. I think that's a big part of what keeps us together, we love hanging out together.
ReplyDeleteI just became your 200th follower! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteHe is one of the most giving men I have ever met - always willing to help no matter the task and almost always in a great mood!
ReplyDeleteHer biological father - absolutely nothing!!
ReplyDeleteHer father that raised her - how he took her in and loved her like his own.
My husband is a superb advocate for our children.
