So last night Hubby, Big Brother and I were discussing the new movie Up that is coming out at the end of this month. It looks cute and Big Brother has been asking for awhile when we can go to a movie again. He saw his first movie last summer. It was a lot of fun and he would really like to do it again. We have been telling him that the next time a good looking movie comes out we will go see it. Well, we decided that this movie looks like the one.
The problem is that we cannot all go. Baby Sister is, obviously, not old enough to go to the movies. So, what do we do? Who gets to take Big Brother? Do I go? Does Hubby go? Who has to stay home? We both want to go and so Hubby turned around and said, "Should we fight about it?" Then we both put up fists and pretended to fight each other. Well, we were all cracking up!! It was so funny. Here is a picture of Hubby as
he and I were fighting over the right to go to the movie with Big Brother.

And here is a picture of Baby Sister cracking up at the two of us. She had decided she wanted to be a part of the action and so Hubby picked her up and held her in the middle of our "fight."

I tried really hard to get a picture of Big Brother laughing at us too but I didn't manage to get one. But that's okay. So, since I have the two I figured I would enter them both in this weeks I Heart Faces. Since the topic is laughter this week. :)
Go see I Heart Faces for more wonderful pictures. And hey - post one of your own. It's fun.
I am also using this as my mommy moments post this week. After all we were being very silly! Go see Mommy Journey for more silly moments

ReplyDeletecan you get a babysitter for little sister? we want to take our daughter to her first movie too, but the little guy is way to little. but yet we both want to go with her to a movie. i would totally get a babysitter so we could both go
ReplyDeleteIf only all fights could turn out like that one!
ReplyDeletewe've taken our little ones to the movies no problems - the best part about kids movies is a little noise never seems to bother anyone, besides they usually get in free! :) I just make sure to bring a diaper bag full of sippy cups/bottles, cheerios, etc to keep her occupied :) We just don't have access to many babysitters and need to get out of the house sometimes - it usually all works out!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the movies!
Cute pictures!! And a cute story!

ReplyDeleteOk seriously mama we went & saw monsters vs alien & I took Ry & He was fine! I say take baby sister! I made sure it was closer to nap time & that he wanted to nurse so I BF him the first part then he slept on me most the rest of the time, it was great!
