AppleCheeks Review and Giveaway

So, many of you know I love my pocket diapers. You have read all about how much I like the Fuzzibunz and the KCK One dipes. But what you probably do not know is that when Baby Sister first started wearing cloth diapers I was a prefold mama. I loved prefolds. I loved that I did not have to replace the cover at every diaper change. I loved that they were super trim - barley larger than a disposable.

And then a very sad thing happened. Baby Sister outgrew her infant prefolds. So, I bought her the next size up - the premium size. But now they were ridiculously bulky! They were supposed to fit her from 15 pounds until 30 pounds but they only way to fold them left her with a huge bubble butt. I hated that!!! So, we moved onto pockets, but I still miss my prefolds.

And that is why I was so excited when I got the Apple Cheeks diaper system in the mail. It works very similarly to prefolds and covers. The envelope cover can be reused and it comes with two inserts. The envelope does have an opening if you would prefer to use it like a pocket diaper. You can stuff one of the inserts (or both - which I did for overnight and it worked very well) in the pocket if that is what you prefer. It has two rows of buttons, which I love because Baby Sister is fairly thin waisted but has chunka monka thighs. :) All in all I love these diapers and I will totally buy more of them once they go on sale (okay, as long as Hubby lets me :)).

And lastly, and possibly most importantly, Baby Sister finds them very comfortable. And yes, my opinionated baby does have diapers she really does not like. Diapers that she will not fall asleep when she is wearing. But as you can see this one is perfect for a short nap on the way home from the park. And to answer your question - no I do not have a diaper that prefectly matches EVERY outfit/shirt she owns. Just most. :) Isn't she adorable?
