For this week's literacy Thursday I, again, let Big Brother pick the book I would be talking about. We are currently in the process of reading The Wonderful Wizard of Oz 
. We read a chapter before nap and another before bed.This is our second time through this book. We read it the first time before Christmas.Big Brother really enjoys it. There are parts that are a little old for him but he gets so much enjoyment out of it that the older parts don't really bother me. It is so much fun to read this with him. He actually laughs (out load) while we are reading. It is so awesome to be reading with him and have him burst out laughing at what is going on. Plus, since we have to read only a chapter or two a day he is learning retention skills. How cool is that?
