Last Friday we headed to Albany and finished up our paperwork. I could write forever about how exciting it is to have everything all ready to go. But instead I want to tell you all about our day. We got in the car at one fifteen pm and headed out to Albany. It is a two hour drive so we
arrived in Albany a little before three thirty pm. We parked and went into the building and had all of our paperwork authenticated. All in all it took about twenty minutes. Next we headed over to FedEx and prepared the envelope to be sent over to our agency. It was a very funny experience. We put our envelope together a few times. The envelope with the paperwork in it actually is inside another envelope and shipped off. However, we still forgot several items in the envelope. We did not realize that until Saturday morning, however, so it is really not a part of our story of Friday. The more important thing we forgot was the sender copy of the shipping label. Hubby accidentally threw it away. I was so frustrated that it
was missing. Hubby called the store after we arrived at the mall and got someone to go through the garbage and read us the shipping label's number. The very nice lady who works at FedEx was nice enough to go through the garbage (probably because she felt bad for the man who was calling while his children and wife were making noise in the background :)).

Then at the mall we had dinner. Then we headed over to Build-A-Bear Workshop and Big Brother made a Dog (named Baby) for our new baby. He was so excited. He loves the baby so much, he is so excited to have this baby. And more than anything he was so excited to make a special stuffed animal for his new sibling. As we were leaving the mall he said, "This was the best day in my whole life because I got to make a special dog for our new baby."

Oh, and the answer to your question is yes, we are Mets fans as well. We do not enjoy baseball the same way we enjoy hockey but we are Mets fans. Big Brother picked the shirt because he said the baby should know we like the Mets.
