Mini-Vacation #3

Well, we enjoyed a very nice day at Sesame Place on the Fourth of July. We have been to Sesame Place before and we love it. As a matter of fact, last summer we did our whole vacation at Sesame Place and when we were buying our passes we were told if we bought the Season Passes they would include the rest of last year's season as well as this years. So, we try to go as often as we can. Luckily, my in-laws live about an hour from Sesame and we can stay with them. We are hoping to be able to go back at some point this summer, but it will all depend on when Baby Sister decides to come on out and how I feel after she does. Big Brother go to go on his first real roller coaster. You have to be three and when we went last summer he wasn't three yet. So, he and daddy went on the Vapor Trail. He loved it!!! I am so glad. I don't like roller coasters and I was afraid he would pick up on that from me. I have been very careful to only speak in positives about them. He had so much fun. We had dinner with Big Bord, Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Zoe and Elmo. It was so much fun. The whole day was great. Right down to the fireworks at night. At 9:00 they did fireworks, but Big Brother slept through most of them. He was happy to be there and so were we.
On Sunday, we went to the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. We did that last summer too. Big Brother remembered it and asked if we could go. He had a great time. There is plenty to do and see. Apparently they are moving to another, bigger location in just two months and there will be even more. We will have to go again next summer I think. There was a really cute show about moving that they were doing. Last summer when we went there was a huge Vietnam exhibit and the show was a traditional Vietnamese tale. That was really cool. Plus, they had crafts and all kinds of exhibits to play on. Big Brother loved the truck and bus that you can drive or fill with gas. He spent a ton of time in the grocery store, where he could shop, stock the shelves, work behind the counter or cook. It was a really nice time.
Both days ended with him sleeping in his car seat as we drove away from the activity. I think almost every vacation day we have ever had has ended that way. Those are some of my favorite memories. Seeing him sleeping in his car seat, his head hitting the side, smiling and just exhausted. I cannot wait to add more little ones to join in the fun. Only a few more weeks for one of them. :)
